A historic house dating back to 1215; set in a most idyllic location. Ideal for exploring the whole island. It nestles between Loch Greshornish and the mature trees that surround it.

Greshornish House Hotel and it`s Boathouse date from 1215 when it was essential to be located near the waterside for transport reasons. At the time it was the most important house on the whole island; and continued to be until the construction of Dunvegan Castle 600 years later. Enjoy the food specially prepared by Callum who uses all local produce and seafood, as well as shellfish from our own farms. Thousands of diners have given our food the highest accolades- the best eating place on Skye.
