A warm and friendly family run establishment, we offer excellent quality food and accommodation within a fine Victorian house of great character. Sitting on an elevated triangular plot of one acre, with trees and gardens offering privacy to two sides the remaining elevation looks out across the Ettrick Valley and beyond.
Rooms are spacious, accessed via a beautiful open minstrel galleried staircase and landing, all of which are en suite with most offering super views across the Ettrick Valley and River below.
The hotel is family and pet friendly and all rooms are non-smoking, as is the Dining Room.
Eating at the Glen is a most satisfying experience with such a terrific selection on offer to suit all tastes and appetites. Our reputation for food is complimented by the number of guests who return on a regular basis.
Finally, at the end of the day, why not relax in our spacious bar and sample one of the many malts on offer? The perfect nightcap, before that perfect uninterrupted sleep.
