17th Century Beamish Hall Hotel is located in a secluded and picturesque setting near to the historic city of Durham. Next door to Beamish Museum, the hotel has individually designed bedrooms within an elegant and peaceful setting.
Traced back to the old French phrase bew mys, the name Beamish could literally be translated as beautiful mansion. Beamish Hall Hotel provides a splendid venue for civil marriages, wedding receptions and conferences.
Beamish Hall Hotel is located 12 miles north west of Durham City and 8 miles south west of Newcastle-upon-Tyne. It is close to the prominent tourist attraction, Beamish Open Air Museum, which is well sign-posted.
