Uplands Hotel & Restaurant is situated just outside the beautiful medieval village of Cartmel near Grange-over-Sands at the southern edge of the English Lake District. The house stands in two acres of lovely gardens with wonderful views to the Leven Estuary on Morecambe Bay. Cartmel and the surrounding country of the Furness Peninsula offer respite from the hustle and bustle of the central Lake District, but is still within three miles of the foot of Lake Windermere. Uplands is just a 25 minute drive from Bowness and 20 minutes from the M6. DetailsRatings/Awards:AA 5 Diamonds Number of Rooms:5 Number Ensuite:5 Restaurant Awards:2 AA Rosettes
