The beautiful, historic, 16th century Priory Hotel with its riverside setting, is somewhere very special indeed. A perfect place to relax and unwind, where peace and tranquility prevail.

With open views of the abounding countryside, the hotel stands in 4 acres of well tended gardens and offers individually appointed bedrooms and luxury suites, accomplished menus, excellent wines, and superb standards of service.

Dinner in the hotel’s, candle-lit, Abbots Cellar Restaurant, is truly a dining experience to savour. Most memorable too, are the delights of ‘alfresco’ meals in the summertime, under dappled shade and umbrellaed, linen covered tables. And in winter, it’s the added glow of a real log fire that appeals.

The hotel, situated in the ancient market town of Wareham, is ideally placed for exploring Thomas Hardy’s Wessex, the Heritage Coast, and The National Trust’s nature reserves and beaches of Studland, with numerous opportunities for walking, cycling, horse-riding, and golfing nearby.
