The Stanwell House Hotel is a privately owned three star Georgian Hotel set on Lymington`s fine wide High Street. Lymington offers much to do and see including two excellent marinas, which are just a few minutes away from the Hotel. Daily crossings by ferry from Lymington to Yarmouth bring the Isle of Wight and all of its pleasures within a journey of half an hour.
For the more ardent country lovers, the New Forest, just two miles away, is the wild and glorious home of ancient trees, dangerous bogs, windswept moors and heathlands.
The hotel boasts sumptuous public areas and five gorgeous suites and a pretty walled garden. The Stanwell is a luscious hotel whose every surface and fabric bursts with fruity, jewelled shades of vibrant colour. Dining by candlelight is always to a very high standard and special diets can be catered for. The emphasis is on friendly, unobtrusive yet efficient service and the whole experience is gentle, romantic and decadent at all times but always relaxing.
