After almost three years of building works, the Sun Hotel is now complete. This major refurbishment of a 17th Century coaching inn has resulted in the offering of 15 contemporary, luxury en-suite hotel rooms. Officially awarded 4 stars by the English Tourist Board, the hotel rooms have superb fittings, designer bathrooms, LCD tvs, wireless internet connection and Sky TV. The hotel accomodation is entirely non-smoking and all rooms are extensively sound-proofed to allow a totally peaceful night`s sleep.
The hotel offers single, double, twin and large executive rooms, plus there is the Sun`s luxury suite with free standing bath, two LCD screens and a lounge area.
Beneath the hotel is an award winning bar with a tremendous array of cask ales, unusual bottled beers, wines and spirits.
Prices start from 50 pounds a room and include a full English breakfast available from 7.30am to 11am.
The Sun Hotel is superbly situated in the centre of historic Lancaster within short walking distance of Lancaster Castle, the Judges Lodging and other tourist attractions. It is ideally located for St Martin`s College, Lancaster University and for business stays.
