Farthings is an elegant Georgian hotel situated in the heart of the Somerset countryside in the historic village of Hatch Beauchamp. Set in its own extensive gardens (approximately 3 acres), it enjoys an enviable reputation for the hospitality and comfort it provides for it`s guests.

With over twenty years experience, Stephen and Hilary Murphy provide the expertise to run the hotel. Stephen as Chef and Hilary as your Host. As owners they have the incentive to strive for perfection.

Just a few miles from Taunton, the county town of Somerset, Farthings Hotel is ideally situated for most of the local attractions. Wells Cathedral, Bath and Exeter are all within easy reach. Cheddar Gorge with its famous caves, Wookey Hole and the rolling hills of the Mendips are just on the doorstep and both the North and South Coasts of Devon and Somerset are only a short drive away.
