Lady Anne Middleton`s is a truly unique hotel. A collection of six historically listed buildings, which have been restored and sympathetically modernised providing a variety of styles throughout its 52 bedrooms. Located in Skeldergate, the ancient Roman Waterfront, which now leads from the medieval city walls across the river to the centre of York. Lady Anne`s nestles in a secluded English courtyard garden. Walking in the grounds of the hotel, you are walking the ground trodden three centuries ago by the widows of the freemen of York.
