With origins in the 13th century, this fine Scottish Baronial Hall is most famous for its connections with the celebrated poet Robert Burns, who wrote many of his well known works whilst staying at Friars Carse.
The hotel is set in 45 acres of woodlands stretching to the River Nith with private salmon and trout fishing. 21 en-suite bedrooms with colour TV, tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer, telephone. Leisure facilities include a 9 hole putting green and panelled snooker room.
