              | A little Welsh secret waiting to be discovered, Beggars Reach was formerly a Victorian Rectory and is now a wonderful hotel in a haven of Welsh tranquility. Beggars Reach is centrally located in the county, surrounded by National Park and farmland. We have individually decorated rooms and great cuisine, served in a new restaurant with terrace overlooking our gardens. Our Restaurant Menu is written on a daily basis making use of the finest local ingredients available at the time and to give a variety of dishes to our customers. Our team of talented chefs are always happy to create any requested favourites if the ingredients are to hand.
Most of the Pembrokeshire coastline is a designated National Park. There are dramatic cliffs, sheltered coves and small seaside resorts. Off shore islands with thousands of breeding seabirds. English settlers put roots down here after the Norman conquest, which explains why `little England beyond Wales` has so many English rather than Welsh place names.
Beggars Reach is itself situated in a peaceful setting, and you can enjoy walking sections of the Coast Path from here. The Coast Path itself runs for 186 miles (on just on 300 kilometres) through rugged picturesque country with wonderful views over an ever changing series of tall cliffs, sandy beaches, smugglers caves and offshore islands. You can walk the coastal path in the sunny days of summer or the wild days of winter before returning to the warmth of Beggars Reach. Much of the path is at cliff-top level, which gives you wonderful views of the cliffs, beaches and offshore islands with their wealth bird life.
