The Greenbank Hotel is Falmouth`s oldest, and the only hotel on the water`s edge of one of the world`s largest and deepest natural harbours.
Dating from the mid-seventeenth century and with its own private quay, The Greenbank served as a base for the Captains of the Packet Ships, which sailed on regular schedules carrying mail, passengers and cargo around the world.
Since it`s recent acquisition by local owners, The Greenbank has benefited from significant investment, justifying the claim to embody the finest traditions of comfort and hospitality.
