The Newton Hotel and Highland Conference Centre is a 4 star hotel set in over 20 acres of mature parkland. Just 7 miles from Inverness Airport and 15 miles from the Highland Capital, the hotel overlooks the Nairn Championship Golf Course `Venue for the September `99 Walker Cup`.
The hotel has 56 bedrooms which include 4 suites. Thirty bedrooms were newly completed in June 1999 and offer extra large beds, rooms with adjoining doors and en suite bathrooms with separate shower units. All rooms are equipped for ISDN lines, data points and 2 telephones. The traditional restaurant caters for lunches and dinners and has been awarded an AA rosette for food.
The Conservatory also provides bar lunches and suppers where you can sample the best of Scottish beef, local seafood and produce. Guests have full use of the nearby (500 yards) sister hotel`s Leisure Club at The Golf View Hotel which also includes tennis courts and cycle hire. The beauty salon offers treatments for both male and female.
Activities in the area include salmon/trout fishing, stalking, horse riding, walking and cycling. Places of interest locally include Loch Ness, Culloden Battlefield, Cawdor Castle, Brodie Castle, Whisky Distilleries, Woollen Mills and Heritage Centres. Nairn has two championship courses and there are over 20 courses within one hour drive. The hotel offers a free tee booking service and golf inclusive packages are also available.
