The Chequers provides comfortable Bournemouth hotel accommodation, with a warm and friendly welcome. Situated on the popular West Cliff located on the head of the renowned Durley Chine, it is only a few minutes stroll either down the Zig-Zag steps or down a gentle slope to the seaside where adults & children alike are catered for, with a safe soft sandy, clean sea and beach-side public house. To explore further along the promenade there is also a land train running between Bournemouth Pier and Alum Chine all day, or take a wonder along on foot to explore the chine along the way. The best shops in Bournemouth, the Winter Gardens, Pavilion, Bournemouth International Centre and new cinema complex are all within a ten minute walk.
