The Old Thatched Cottage Hotel and Restaurant is a beautiful beamed building, full of charm and character. Originally built as four cottages during the Fifteenth Century, the building retains many of the original features, including the salt cupboards, which are located, either side of the fireplace in the lounge, part of a ladder stair and of course, many oak beams! The Old Thatched Cottage offers a variety of dining experiences; bar snacks in the lounge for the lighter appetite, or more formal dining in the restaurant from the extensive A la Carte menu. A three-course Sunday lunch menu is also available, offering fish and vegetarian dishes as well as the traditional roasts. All the hotel rooms in this historic building are individually furnished; many with period antiques and all are en-suite.
