The Rutland Arms Hotel is the Premier Hotel in the famous town of Bakewell, at the heart of the Peak District National Park. Previously visited by Turner, Constable and Wordsworth, this market town hotel of warmth and character was originally built in 1804 by the then Duke of Rutland. The Breathtaking scenery in the surrounding area is magnificent, a true walkers paradise.

Our rosette awarded, candlelit restaurant has an exciting and varied menu, all dishes are cooked to order and presented with skilful attention to detail. For something more informal, the lounge bar offers a good selection of modern dishes and traditional ales. Try the famous Bakewell Pudding, which was first created at the hotel.

All bedrooms are en-suite with TV, beverage facilities, hairdryer and clock radios. Private onsite parking is available.
