The Horn of Plenty is one of those very special places that one constantly seeks but rarely finds. Surrounded by four acres of gardens and orchards, the property nestles into the foothills of Dartmoor with uninterrupted spectacular views of the Tamar Valley.

Inside the house there is an intimacy of warmth and welcome, with the furnishings designed for comfort and the smell of fresh flowers competing with the tang of wood smoke from the log fires in winter.

The heart of The Horn of Plenty is the kitchen. Taste and texture, harmony and contrast, balance and, of course, the final presentation are all as important as the fresh produce and top quality ingredients that combine to make a memorable meal. Our serious commitment to cooking, however, does not mean that food cannot be enjoyed in a relaxed and informal manner.

The restaurant is open seven days a week, but is closed for lunch on Monday.
