Magnificent Grade II listed building, set in a Conservation Area of 65 acres, landscaped gardens overlooking the beautiful Rutland Water and situated in the quintessentially English county of Rutland.

The Old Hall at Barnsdale was constructed in 1890 for the Earl Fitzwilliam, as a family hunting lodge with views across the Vale of Catmose and Gwash Valley.

Barnsdale is located 30 minutes from Leicester/junction 21 (M1) and 18 miles from Peterborough, just off the A606 between Stamford (A1) and Oakham.

The Estate is only 4 miles from Oakham station and served by Central Trains through Leicester (Midland Mainline) and Peterborough (GNER).

East Midlands Airport is a mere 35 miles, Birmingham 62 and London 100.

July 2003 has seen the culmination of a £1 million development and refurbishment programme which included all 65 bedrooms, the construction of the Osprey restaurant and the opening of our new Beauty Spa.
