Set in the peaceful surroundings of the beautiful Buckinghamshire countryside on the banks of the River Thames, Bisham Abbey National Sports Centre manages to combine the old with the new and business with leisure. Once home to Henry VIII and Elizabeth I the 800 year old Abbey is now a unique venue for any conference and corporate events, as well as boasting superb sports facilities and the perfect backdrop to host private dinners, weddings and functions. Modern business executives (and the odd Tudor ghost!) roam the panelled conference rooms of this historic building, which can cater for up to 90 delegates. The Great Hall with its magnificent vaulted ceiling and minstrels gallery can seat up to 100 people for a formal sit down meal. Accommodation is available for up to 74 guests in either 20 single, 18 twin or 6 triple bedded rooms. Three rooms have been specially adapted for disabled guests. |
