Such is the popularity of this handsome inn that customers are able to book tables at lunchtime and in the evenings to make sure of a chance to sample some of the quite excellent food on offer. The range of interesting starters and main courses is supplemented by monthly specials. Around half a dozen fine ales are kept on hand pump and the wine list offers a range of vintages to suit all palates.
