Heaven on earth: Andrew’s on the Weir is set against a back -drop of densely wooded hills, valleys and rushing streams. A land where red deer are commonplace, and people the exception. Above lies the stunning wilderness of Exmoor, dotted by the occasional farms that supply much of our seasonal meat and game.

Heaven on the waterfront: we have two dining rooms over-looking the tiny historic harbour of Porlock Weir and beyond to the perfect half -moon bay of Porlock. From your table you may well spot Glen at work. He’s the local fisherman who supplies fresh fish and seafood directly from his boat to our kitchen.

Heaven on a plate: fresh seasonal local ingredients and the inspiration of award winning chef and owner Andrew Dixon combine to produce mouthwatering world-class cuisine. All the food that passes your lips, save the butter, cheese and olive oil is made on the premises (though even the olives for the oil are picked from our groves in Greece). Whilst food is undoubtedly a serious business, a relaxed informal atmosphere and warm welcome are always on the menu. As for our wine list it’s erm, more of the same…heaven.
