The Angel Inn is the perfect base for your holiday; set in an ideal central location in Bowness-on-Windermere, amongst gardens and grounds with views of the high Lake District fells, and only a few minutes walk from the lake, shops and other attractions.
Built in 1802 as an English gentleman`s residence, the Inn has recently been refurbished to offer comfortable and stylish surroundings with a contemporary feel, without losing that traditional ambience of a true Lake District retreat.
Our comfortable bedrooms are all en suite with a bath or shower. Every room comes equipped with colour TV, complimentary tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryers and toiletries. Some superior rooms are available that are larger or have views of Lake Windermere, and we also have rooms suitable for families.
Our superb food, prepared by our award-winning chefs, can be enjoyed in a relaxed and informal atmosphere in any one of our lounge or bar areas. If you prefer, you can dine al fresco on our large, sunny terraced beer garden, the perfect place to sit and watch the world go by.
All of our guests also receive free access to the nearby Parklands Leisure Club, where you can go swimming, use the gym, or enjoy a game of squash, badminton, table tennis or snooker.
