The hotel is close to the centre of York, one of Europe`s premier historic cities. It is within walking distance of the city`s main attractions: York Minster; the Castle Museum; York Races; the medieval city walls, the Jorvik Viking Centre; and Shambles. At the centre of Yorkshire, York is an ideal centre for visiting the county`s many attractions: Castle Howard the Brontë country; James Herriot`s dales and moors; and the rugged coast are all within an hour`s drive.
