Surrounded by some 1,800 acres of glorious English parkland the Ickworth Hotel has an idyllic location. Home to the Hervey Family for over 200 years, the house and estate we see today were created by the Earl Bishop of Bristol in the late 18th Century. Gifted by the family to the National Trust in 1956 the East wing has now become our latest Luxury Family Hotel. In bringing a contemporary hand to the ground floor there remains respect for the traditions of this great house. The result is a typically warm and welcoming place, with more than a dash of style and much comfort. Lose yourself in the rolling green acres of Ickworth parkland
