A lovely old country house, tastefully furnished and situated in beautiful grounds.

Approached by a long tree lined drive, offering complete seclusion and unspoiled views of the surrounding countryside. Ideal for visiting the lakes, Hadrians Wall, the Lowlands and Teesdale etc.

All rooms, including the four poster, are ensuite and are individually furnished.

The Library and elegant Drawing Room have crackling log fires and the intimate cocktail bar is well stocked.

Our cuisine is recognised as the best in the area and is matched by an equally fine wine list.

Be assured of a very warm welcome and enjoyable stay here. Civil wedding ceremonies are also conducted.
