We don`t pretend what we offer is unique. However, we know our fusion of hotel, restaurant and surroundings is a rare combination anywhere in the British Isles. Morston Hall is owned and run by Tracy and Galton Blackiston - and Galton`s team in the kitchen is acknowledged as one of Britain`s best.
That`s not a claim we are making for ourselves, though. Our guests have been kind enough to say it, some of the best food and wine writers have committed that sentiment to print in national newspapers and magazines, and so have the important independent hotel guide books. Some have even said that the food alone is worth the journey to North Norfolk.
We also have two comfortable lounges, which are wonderful places to sit and read, chat to friends, or take an aperitif. There could hardly be a better place to sit and take afternoon tea than the conservatory, overlooking our extensive gardens. Except, perhaps, on the terrace amid the scent of the flowers and the calls of seabirds at nearby Blakeney Point, one of the National Trust properties in the area.
