The Henderson Family of the renowned Burts Hotel have recently acquired the Townhouse Hotel, formerly Millars Hotel. The Townhouse is managed by James Henderson; youngest son of Graham and Anne Henderson, and James`s wife Elaine. Their aim is to provide friendly, personal attention for their guests and to promote the Food and Beverage aspect of the Hotel with the expertise of Head Chef Colin Clark using the best of produce from Scotland`s natural larder

The Townhouse has eleven well appointed Bedrooms, all en suite consisting of One family room, Two Superior Double Rooms, one with four poster and Jacuzzi, three twin Rooms and five Double Rooms.

Guests can enjoy Lunch and Supper in the newly refurbished contemporary Bar / Bistro as well as the more formal surroundings of the Restaurant. Private Dining, Functions and Conference facilities are also available for up to 65 persons.

Relaxing and comfortable surroundings, first class food and traditional Scottish Borders Hospitality combine to make The Townhouse Hotel the prefect base for a peaceful break in The Scottish Borders. Visitors can enjoy Walking, Cycling, Golf and Horse Racing at Kelso Race Course. Fishing and Shooting can also be arranged.
