The 15 acres of garden and grounds are a delightful marriage of the formal and the wild, with tennis court, pool, croquet, a mill and a dovecote recorded in the Domesday Book. The two-acre lake is always active with wildfowl. Life here is elegant, comfortable and peaceful. The welcoming owners have filled the house with gorgeous things. It stands behind the parish church. An excellent pub is a two-minute walk up the lane. |
