The hotel was originally built by Lord Walshingham as a wedding present to his daughter Mary. It is set in a 118-acre estate, boasting its own 18-hole golf course, which has the River Ure running through it.
The hotel comprises of a number of distinctive types of accommodation, from a traditional style four poster room in the Manor House for that romantic occasion, to a contemporary style suite in the new extension, from which you can relax on the balcony with fantastic views over the North Yorkshire countryside.
