From the first moment that you set foot into the Blue Lion, you will be overwhelmed by its charm and character. Combine this with the warmth of our friendly staff and you have all the ingredients for a wonderful break in the heart of Wensleydale.
The bar, with it`s open fire and flagstoned floor, offers a tantalising range of bar meals, as well as a fine selection of traditional hand-pulled beers.
The candlelit restaurant provides a gracious setting in which to enjoy the delights of our à la carte menu. All food is freshly prepared, using a variety of local ingredients, and there is always a selection of vegetarian dishes available to choose from.
