Set in 200 acres of parkland, lakes and gardens, this splendid castle hotel is a real treasure. Only 8 miles from the A1, and two and a half hours by train from London, Swinton Park is easily accessible, and yet a world apart at the gateway to the Yorkshire Dales. This is a stately home - the ancestral seat of the Earl of Swinton - and lavishly decorated with family portraits and antiques.
