Melville Castle has been restored and refurbished to provide a luxury 4 star Hotel only 6 miles from Edinburgh city. The castle is set in a secluded situation on the bank of the North Esk river within a fifty acre wooded estate. Built in 1786 on the site of the old medieval castle for the first Viscount Melville, it is described as of important historical and architectural significance.

The Hotel welcomes the discerning guest and also specialises in Wedding Receptions, Conferences and Corporate Events. We are pleased to offer exclusive use of the hotel and grounds for special occasions.

It is bounded by two golf courses and the attractive grounds are home to a variety of wild life.
