At the Luib Hotel with its wonderful log fires and country setting. You will find a warm cosy atmosphere the area is ideal for the keen fisherman, golfer and the dedicated walker. The River Dochart is 100yds from the Hotel grounds with our permits being £5, you can see why the Hotel is popular with fishermen. For the walker and Munro baggers the area is plentiful with the West Highland Way being five miles west and nine munros in close proximity. Ben More and Ben Lawyers being prominent. The golfer can choose from five local courses with Taymouth Castle being the jewel in the crown, St Andrews and Gleneagles are within 2 hours the hotel and are steeped in history with Rob Roy Macgregor`s house being 2 miles to the west. He would have been a frequent visitor to the then Drovers Inn (1740s).
All in all the hotel is a venue for fishing, walking, golfing, climbing a stopping off point or just a place to relax and enjoy the area with an excellent menu and a fine wine list. Room prices being around £25 per person per night. A memorable stay is guaranteed.
